In my observation, the demand for high quality antiques of decent scarcity (nice iceboxes, well made roll top desks and document cabinets, large crocks, etc) are in demand as ever.
Whenever there is a farm auction locally with a lot of older stuff like that it attracts a crowd from the nearby city and I amazed what things bring. The high end antique stores in wealthier areas have become popular. I’ve walked through them and about fell over from the price tags.
