Subject: Gehl and Mustang skid loaders

We run a gehl skid steer with t-bar controls and really like that set up. We've always been gehl users and would like to not change that. we've been running the 5640 and 6640's since they came out. a couple years ago we ordered a new gehl and ended up trading it back for an older gehl because the emissions kept giving us too much trouble.

gehl and mustang are the same skid as far as i know, to my knowledge none of the mustangs have the t-bar controls, only foot controls combined with hand controls.

so that leads me to my thought: if you found the right machine with low enough hours, but the controls weren't the right ones would it be possible to convert foot control to t-bar controls?

when i say t-bar i do not mean pilot or joystick controls. the left handle runs all the driving functions and the right hand control runs all your boom and bucket movements.

im afraid someday we will have to bite the bullet, but would be willing to try this if it worked,
tia.
