SC Iowa | With field tracker you add one link to the chain, no need for more. On my 2144 with 30.5 tires I ran the face plate all the way forward (with 30' head) but for corn always tipped it back about half way.
I think the 30' head may be at a different angle than the smaller heads, when I ran a 20' I never changed the face plate but the 30' would cut very high unless I tipped it all the way forward. Always assumed it was because the 30' head was designed for the 80 size machine and the feeder house pivot was much higher because of the 30" rotor. | |
