I agree.

However...the nursing homes are where this virus has had a field day. In this county, 20 of the 24 deaths listed from covid have happened in one facility. We know covid spread like wildfire in these facilities. So it is critical to take measures to keep it out in the best interests of the rest of the residents and staff.

That said, by now they should have come up with some sort of viable plan on allowing family to visit, especially at a resident's end of life. Perhaps move them to a more public room for access? I don't know.  

I have been with a few of my relatives as they passed. I certainly feel sorry for those who have family but do not get the chance to have them by their side at passing. Sad.
