Southeast Washington | Early on in May they wouldn't let anyone in to see patients here. My mother in law went to the hospital with cancer and the anxiety is not being able to see family was worse than the cancer. The only way to get her out was home hospice. She passed away July 3.
Had a friend get infection from a bad hip replacement and he ended up in a Covid floor in April. He said it was not a place you could imagine or wanted to experience. Patients screaming and crying because they were dying and couldn't see family. Stress was probably worse than the disease. Very sad. | |
