E. CO, exactly half way between NE and OK | Here is a picture of 9:00 22.5 wheels that will replace 8.25 20 tires. I would sell you these for $40 each. School buses and U Haul trucks use them.
I wouldn't be afraid to mount tires on rims like you have, we fixed a tire on a Chevy truck with 8.25 tires like yours for a neighbor just a while back. Someone may not have the ring seated correctly on your rim causing it to blow off.
