Subject: RE: Rotor versus Walker Combines

Morris, Mb.
Rotors shine in good crop conditions and walkers shine in tough conditions. We grow alfalfa and ryegrass for seed and have a new holland Cx 8090 and it shines in those crops. We also straight cut canola. This year the canola was dry but plants still grass green. Our John Deere sales rep was out and couldn’t believe we were running. He said there was no way one of there rotors would have been able to go. It looked like so leave coming out the back. Once the plants were ripe, the rotors could run faster than us.
