I think walker combines shine in wheat and other grains, but for corn and beans rotary is the only way to go.


We grow wheat, malt barley, and pulse crops such as chick peas and green peas. Far as single rotors go, I would say they are essential in malt barley and pulse crops due to the gentle threshing action of the rotary. They also work great in dry easy threshing wheat. Were they tend to fall on their face is in hard threshing and tough late season wheat. Can’t get aggressive enough. That’s why we miss our JD CTS sometimes.
