I have a 540C I traded the 670 off for & have the same issue. The 670 in green stem beans would plug like you say & then fall down eventually. I snapped a chopper belt that way! They need a rear beater like every other combine to pull the material off the rotor or it comes out in globs. The only thing you can do is play with your rotor speed or concave clearance. Make sure the chopper knives are sharp. I also do not run any stationary knives in the chopper.
