Subject: Rebuilding and greasing a roto disc

Central MN
So I'm rebuilding ours for the first time and I see the bearing on the front of the disc shaft is only open to the zerk side. Should these just be packed and given a few pumps per season max?

Behind the bearing there some crazy cups and sleeves bushings before the first blade with various orings. I'm confused why orings if grease can't go around or through the bearing. Should I be filling these areas with grease at a assembly?

Any insight is appreciated, I never got a book with it.
