On our 260 Magnum, we've got 3 out of 4 remotes that won't work or won't work properly. I've seen and read on here some of the issues and problems that people have had regarding these.
Is replacing the outside "box" the only fix? I've heard the replacement is around $1,000, not including labor. So put 3 of those on one work order, that bill could get kinda hefty.
Is there a different place to source those "boxes" other than through the dealership? Is it possibly there's a $100 fix in the old"box" and that would be the better choice? Just curious what people have done and had the most success with?
what year is your 260?? i was told on my 2012 340 that they had a bad batch of remotes and updated them on a first come first serve basis i just fouinf thisd out 2 weeks ago as i have 2 remotes not working
