Sanilac Co. Michigan | I've read the replies to your post, but all of them have "missed" the most important point: how was the stock cut in relation to the grain of the wood? Could very well be a AAA exhibition grade stick of wood, but if they did a poor job of lay out and cutting, that means nothing. That stock, broke at the wrist, is only good for making fancy tool and knife handles.
So, inspect for that first, not how pretty it is..unless you're just buying a hanger, not a banger! | |
