West central ND | We stayed at Canyon Village in a cabin. Nice location because everything is pretty close. We have been there many times. My recommendation would be to go through Cody on the way there. Stay in the park. Go down to the Tetons and Jackson Hole. Come back through the park and exit to the northeast through RedLodge via the Beartooth pass. If you would like to get to Billings. Or you could go back to Cody and go east over the Big Horn Mountains to Sheridan. Just a short way to the Bighorn Battlefield.
