Jeffersonville, OH | You can bypass it by adjusting that screw coming out the bottom, but I can never remember which way is on. You can actually vary the speed by adjusting that screw. It will run as soon as you start the engine, so please be aware of that and be careful.
If it will not run by adjusting that screw, then you have a problem on your header most likely. On the RH side on the back of the frame, there is a torque limiting valve, and a bypass tube with a square block in line with the metal tube. Inside that, is a spring and a simple metal disc, acting as a check valve. I have seen those check valves get something stuck in them and bypass all the oil. You can take it apart, but pay attention to which direction everything comes apart so you can install it correctly.
