I’ll start you with what I would check first. Where are the beans coming from? 1. Check for header loss. 2. Are they going over the shoe or going out through the chopper/spreader. If it’s the spreader, then you probably need to close down the concave more. If they are going over the shoe, first try opening the chaffer and sieve until you start getting excessive pods. If that doesn’t help , start turning down the fan until the sample starts getting too dirty. If the beans are real dry, it’s possible that the stems are breaking down too much and ending up on the shoe, overloading the shoe with trash. Then you may have to slow down the rotor, I wouldn’t open the concave though, then you may get unthreaded pods.
