Swaledale, IA | Interesting look at farming in Brazil. But they are not the competition. The world would starve if they were relied on for food. I was confused about being impressed with 12 30 row planters doing 500 hectares in a day. In USA those same planters would plant 1000's of acres in a day. Also we would not have to worry about roads and bridges when it was time to move that grain to elevators and ports. They do raise enough to effect markets, but not anywhere near enough to effect long term production. | |
