Mid-Missouri | Slow and tight is where we run for soybean seed. That goes for about any combine in seed production, slow and tight. Also, yes, check concave for being level, square, according to manual if you don't know how.
Also, there will be one cylinder bar on left, and right, higher than the others. You measure the concave gap based on this high bar, for consistent adjustment. You want the back of the concave closer to the cylinder than the front.
Use metric allen wrenches to measure concave gap, for quicker, easier procedure. | |
