Subject: RE: HCC Orbit Reel - Steel vs Plastic Track - Throwing rollers / bending crank arms

North Central Iowa
I learned this from the guys at Harvestmore Heads.
They have installed lots of Orbit Reels.

If the rollers don't follow the tracks right it is an assembly issue of the arms mounted to the center tube that support the bats. If one row from one end to other were all pushed forward (bolt hole slop)when bolted to tube, they won't run in the same circle as another row of arms that were held opposite and tightened down.
Make sense??
Laugh at my drawing, but this is what happens. A different circle rotation trying to ride inside the track groove that is a fixed location.

Have to get all the arms bolted down as close as possible to the same.

I did switch my bottom half to the steel track. I did have my track warp some when left head sit few months in the hot summer Sun 1 year.
