Milford, IL | Same here. Samaritan has been great. We are a young and healthy family of four, we had a 'claim' when our second son was born almost five years ago. The whole process worked like it was suppposed to and we paid very little out of pocket. You do have to be prepared to eat the cost of routine health care. I hurt my back almost two years ago and the $90 doctor visits and $700 MRI were on me. I could have submitted the MRI expense, but I was responsible for the injury and would not have felt right turning it in for others to cover.
I called several facilities that had a MRI machine - prices ranged from $700 to over $4,000. I know nothing about gall bladder surgery and what it might cost but I'd expect there is a facility around that would be willing to work with you. | |
