Why don't any of these outfits offer financing till say, January 20? It would be far more valuable to a whole lot of people to get that seed payment past when cash rents are due, when the river closes for delivering soybeans, when the fiscal year has passed for people who want to write checks on a different side of the date line.... October 31 or December 1 just adds to the cash flow scramble that is already going on then for some of us who don't have a trust fund. |
