Subject: RE: The Bad Pulling Accident From Below

Northeastern Pa.
I've been pulling since 1976 with different tractors from 40hp to 1000 and it's been a fun challenge. I've never spent a lot of money but it was our family time type of thing. It's fun gaining hp with just some little changes. We gained 100hp this year with just changing a few small things that cost about $5.00 at the hardware store and modifying them. Yea it's a waist of time and $$ but so is camping, boating and so on. Gotta have some fun some how. As I've said in the other post I've hooked to that same sled at least 100 times and it's a tough sled to start and comes down on you hard when the pan drops. Something seriously was wrong that night. with a number of things. All in all I feel safer on the track than I do going to and from a pull on the highway. Their have been more fatalities to pullers doing that than pulling.
