Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa

OneEyedCat - 9/21/2020 21:35 My family and I have plans for such a business. I refuse to sell nudie magazines and other smut. Why must this type business be like all the rest? You gotta stand for something in this world.

I think jtpfarm nailed it. A clean, clean, clean facility with good food and huge, well-layed-out lot will draw trucks in. Lack of alcohol won't hurt business at all, IMHO, and same with the magazines. There are enough "adult stores" along the interstates to take care of that, and most trucks have internet anyway. However, I do think lack of tobacco will impact your business plan in a huge way. It's a nasty habit, but most truck drivers (full-time, at least) have it. Your stop doesn't provide tobacco, they'll stop at the one 50 miles down the road that does.
