if suddenly your value added product takes off and you get orders for 500 or 5000 how are you going to ramp up production? how many can you make?
once a year thing = hobby
if you are adding the value to a product and think you can do it all in a couple weeks - expect no more than a couple weeks pay - then what are you going to do the rest of the year? maybe you make enough in those couple weeks....
