Could anyone help me out a bit here? I am only days away from making a large purchase on some farm equipment and they are sticklers about having the document on file. The taxes will really hurt so I really need to get something figured out quickly. Trying to understand the process and if this can be done online by chance? Are there fees? Anything major?
This basically a new farm so I have not filed any schedule Fs or registered the farm in any way other than on file with the FSA.
I looked at ks farm exempt certificate, it is the same as ours, just fill it out and give it to whoever you are purchasing from. Page 17 is the farm exempt.
