Subject: RE: Nebraska dryland beans doing OK

Adams county , Nebraska

I've cut about 200 acres of dryland so far, 35-39 is catching it all so far. I'm in Adams county (just outside of Hastings). No rain from beginning of April till Memorial Day weekend we got 4-5 inches (only about 2 or so soaked in). Nothing again till 7/24 got 1 to 1.5 inches. Nothing again till September 8th which was of little help. I'm surprised it did as well as it did but OMG are we dry!!!  Some irrigated has come off but I was told it's not record setting for our area, mid 70s.
