southwestern Pa, on the Mason-Dixon line | I have been getting layer-house litter delivered in and dumped for $28 @ ton.
Is that about what you are seeing in you areas for price?
Also I am spreading on my pastures and hayfields, would it be better suited to spread in the spring?Is layer- And is layer-house litter usually a lot wetter than broiler house litter?
This stuff is wet, but we have a Pequea spreader that seems to be handling it nicely.
