Nw Oregon | both pictures with the red sky were taking around noon. it was pitch black till about 8 am that day. the where was very minimal damage to the mill is what i am hearing. had a logger haul some equipment into what of our worked up fields to keep it safe from the fire. he told me it was around 1.1 million worth of logs that burnt. we had a rental house and some equipment sheds at risk when the mill was burning but were very safe from the wildfires. smoke is pretty well cleared up finally. we have a 4 month old little girl. so my wife left the house maybe once all week just trying to keep the little one out of the smoke. ive got two happy girls now that we can finally be outside. | |
