Subject: Is the sun stationary or does it move around?

Pittsburg, Kansas

I for one never gave it much thought. We have come to accept that the planets rotate around the sun, but does the sun have a rotation or a movement within the galaxy? And if so how does it affect our earth?

Interesting video where a scientist talks about it and the effects. The sun motion starts at around 10:40 minutes in.

I hope her computer models are more accurate than the covid death prediction models. Or maybe I hope they are not. :-)
