If you think about it, a neighbors death benefits everyone around them.
There's one less person wasting health care dollars, one less person susceptible to disease, more assets and resources available for the rest of us.
As long as I stay strong, and don't give in to care or emotions, it will be a win/win/win for everyone.

I have friends, neighbors, and relatives who are older. I care about them on purpose, not because I don't think about it, or because I am detached from reality.
I have made changes to reduce the chance of catching or spreading diseases, just like a lot of other people have, not because I think that everyone will live forever, but because I think that it is worth it, to reduce the risk of them getting sick or dying unnecessarily.
I have also worked in the hog industry long enough to know that "herd immunity " isn't the utopia that some people think it is.
