SC Wisconsin | Definitely get a boat and have a crane set it in there. My uncles have a slurry that hadn't been well agitated in years, they had a while ring that wouldn't pump out. They put a boat in and got it pumped down. To maybe 1' or less left in the bottom. It costs a couple thousand bucks to rent the boat and put it in/take it out but its cheap compared to the storage you have but can't use.
My uncles use sawdust as their bedding as well so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Where are you located? I might be able to get some contacts for you to get a better idea on costs
