Subject: RE: Aquiring property pre-foreclosure

Nw Iowa
+1, in Minnesota debtor has a lot of rights and a lot of time. Even if you buy on sheriffs sale you are along ways from owning property. Borrower holds most of cards right up until final redemption expires including selling his right to redeem to someone else. Don’t know if it is legal but done a lot. Minnesota rules don’t know other states. Personally would stay far away and wait for it to wind its way thru system. If it gets listed in paper as foreclosure than you know it’s in play. Otherwise all you are going to do is make enemies. Generally only way bank ends up with something if mortgage is at or more than market value of property. Go home save your time and money to purchase it at fair value when time comes.
