My favorite time was the Corn harvest where Corn was cheap, diesel was high. It took almost a hole semi load of Corn to fill your truck up. A gallon of Diesel was worth more than a bushel of Corn. I think it was 03-04 anyway it was a precursor of coming events as it turned out.
1996 export spike to China corresponded to Cheap Crude Oil.
