Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | Russ, was kinda hoping you had it a little better then us but it doesn't look like it, our river place was spared thank the good Lord but we saddled horses and they spent the night in the trailer last week during the big wind storm and fire in our area that burnt the two towns two the ground, sad deal when 300 people towns make the national news ! truly the death of these two towns as they will be a skeleton of there former self from this point on. River place was in the direct path until the wind shifted, was truly blessed as we have a couple hundred cows still there we haven't brought home yet and they are dropping there fall calve fast right now, we would have moved a the group as we fed and bunched them up before dark. We planned a night push down onto the irrigated river bottom below the bluffs or cliffs as most would describe them, fire would have pushed them over the cliffs in the dark im sure, really blessed we were spared ! viz has been about 3 thousand foot the last week and my lungs are barking may get some showers this weekend and blow this smoke out, fingers crossed ! stay healthy ! |
