Back when this was just getting to be a big deal in the US I dug around the CDC and other websites and looked at the stats about the virus from around the world and it appeared very early on that there was statistically very little difference in the progress of the spread of the virus regardless what steps were taken but if stuck out fairly quickly that population density was a noticeable factor.
Lockown had little impact on virus
