Subject: Planting an earlier maturing bean?

NWND
Will dropping my maturity from our 009-01 range to say a 005 range bean help me try and beat our dry time of summer. Will it move up my time of needing moisture from early to mid august to say maybe later july? Or is it not enuff of a maturity difference?
