Garden City Ks | Kansas wheat acres will be up from recent lows, but the corn belt has expanded into western Kansas. Lots of acres that were dedicated to wheat are raising Corn. No big surprise I guess. I’ll bet with this rally in wheat there’ll be a lot of double crop wheat behind dryland Corn in western KS. Acres could be big but yield will drag unless we get a wet winter cool spring. As far as the rally and high stocks, if investors are interested that’s all we need, I remember a few years ago crude oil stocks were burdensome but it shrugged it off and rallied. | |
