Catgrader140m - 9/17/2020 20:31 I’m very grateful for this rally. Closing on my first farm this month gives me hope. I enjoy everyone on here, just get tired of the doom and gloom saying the markets are headed to the ground. It’s enjoyable when there optimism on market talk.
DO NOT think this year is normal!!!!! Plenty of info showing June-July is the time to sell, both old and new crop. Posted below someone said this is the first time in 8 years that we've rallied into harvest. I'll take average june numbers last 8 years VS harvest lows..... Full disclosure, I sold beans hard June-July. currently 1.35 on the WRONG side of beans. But last year I delivered alot of $4 corn. Prolly will again this spring.

The Kung Flu pretty much killed the seasonality that "should" have been the typical time for forward sales though, right?  Or I suppose somebody will be along shortly to demonstrate how their pitchforks told them it would be best to wait....
