you suck at advice, He just tried to start a business with 2 **** years in a row. VERY few have to do that. I started farming in 1979 bought my first land in 81 and 6 months later it was worth half of what I pd for it. It took me 15 years to not be upside down on that land, If I hadnt had a full time job most of the time I wouldnt have made it, and I went into farming with a pretty good nest egg. KB

I spent the first half of my career in Extension and I always said that it looked to me like being a beginning farmer was the most difficult enterprise there was. So I feel your pain. I've also failed as a beginning farmer and am a farm employee now.
Only thing I will comment is get out of the planting summer annuals and winter annuals business. That will sure enough sink your hay operation.
