The only way this type of talk will ever have any teeth is if they couple the RFS to Liability waivers. You want a SRE? You don’t want to reallocate prior gallonage? Pull the waivers, and let them deal with the avalanche of lawsuits, and the epa actually enforcing environmental laws on them.
Only way to make them follow the law is to make ethanol look attractive to them, and the way to do that is to make it more cost effective to use it, like the carrot and the stick. | |
