I would assume his fixed cost are similar to here. I'm perfectly happy to grow 130 bu corn for 3.50 year in and year out. That said we are very profitable when we grow 180 to 230 bu corn. The fringe as they say is very profitable when we hit a big crop or good crop.
I must be doing something wrong "happy to grow 130 bu. Corn at 3.50 year in and year out"? For me there would'nt be many year outs, I'd be having an auction sale. |
