I've used the filter cup that comes with them at times. On the rig your talking about the electric pump should fill them. Sometimes I fill them right out of my bulk tank of course after a 10 micron filter. If the two quarts from my bulk tank going into that little fuel filter is going to ruin my injectors that quick I've got some serious problems. Sometimes some thinking gets over complicated. I used to read the Green Magazine and Mr. Thinker in the back would complain that readers would write in with crazy questions about tractors that 50 years ago likely got water poured into their radiators from a canal with bullheads swimming in it because the operator needed some to now getting a question such as will I burn my valve seats using unleaded gasoline in a parade? lol

It's not the two quarts, it's the 5 micron piece of grit that makes its way through and that's all it takes to ruin one injector
