Yup, electric prefill. Was awesome when it came out on the 8030 tractors (and later on the other stuff). I remember before 2006 (for Deere) they sent a cup you screwed in the top of the filter that directed fuel to the outside holes so it would be filtered. (as some posters mentioned)
Had to do it on a 7920 as it didn't have an electric lift pump and I've heard it can be a real pain if you get air in the system, we never had any problems though. I fill all my fuel filters except for john deere tractors. |
