Subject: RE: PNW

North Central Oregon
I was told one reason that my local, normally positive, basis for Soft White Wheat has gone from +.80 to -.10 at times the last several weeks was because the exporters at the ports are so packed with beans and corn going to China they don't want to handle wheat right now. Said there was hope that once the surge of beans and Corn started to work through the system that basis would return. But with the continuing sales of beans, I am wondering how long that will take. Local December Wheat is showing +.33 right now.
