How do you know they have the resources? Huge areas to cover...Lotsa people build in

remote, hard for fire equipment to reach places...



Lack of resources is a BS excuse for lack of management. When it comes to public lands, they can’t be lacking resources when they’re literally managing resources.

Our state lands commissioner in in charge of a portfolio of land that is worth multi-billions of dollars. If the state can’t manage an asset base that large in such a way that it generates revenue beyond what it costs, then they should sell it all to the highest bidder and sit back and collect property taxes like they do with all the other private land.
