Here on our farm we call them “Jawbreakers”. Always get a good firm grip on the handle no matter the load your picking up.

At the moment we have two, one has a date with cutting torch. Once the mechanism gets a hiccup we cut them in half, they are wore out and very dangerous. Biggest issue is when we try to pickup something heavier then what the Jawbreaker was designed for, that’s when we start noticing problems.
