Subject: RE: Do farmers visit in person much anymore?

North Dakota, USA
I still stop and visit people mostly in the yard or shop, but other years I have usually gone for a few combine rides during harvest. I haven't done that this year and probably won't. It is not so much that I fear getting Covid but since I am in contact with the public for work and the kids' school activities, I don't want to inadvertently give it to the person driving the combine if I'm carrying the virus and don't know it. Social distancing does not work in a cab and I am not so sure masks help that much. Farmers doesn't have time to be sick during harvest.

Hopefully I will get out there again next year.
