ND | So a few people I know were part of the layoffs in Fargo, and they didn't say how many(as they didn't know an exact number), but they said probably at least triple digits laid off, Judging by how many were moving their things out.
It's not due to lack of work, but cost savings as they were told they could reapply for their job-in Vancouver(not a transfer) and not all lost jobs were being moved there, most were being replaced in everyone's favorite country: China.
Kinda interesting to me, North Dakota jobs being directly replaced by the Chinese. Usually it seems like it's part of a bigger chain, not directly. | |
