Near-north Ontario, French River | Yep , apart from guys just starting out, the vast majority of 500acre farmers are going to exceed $750k in net worth. They may not have that in cash, but it’s really not that hard to achieve for most farmers. The notion of “poor” farmers isn’t all that valid anymore. I would wager the average net worth of an agtalker exceeds $1mil, and no doubt there are several here with net worth’s much much higher than that. Far too many folks here in North America acknowledge just how good we have it, even our “poor” are “wealthy” compared to much of the worlds population. |
