South Central MN | Another thing to ponder on handwashing, most of us when at home try to keep clean, but ever go into a fast food place or most other places to eat for that matter? What is one thing many don't do and if they do have to visit some other room? Yep, many don't wash hands before sitting down to eat. Go to the bathroom to wash them? So many others don't before they touch the door handle. Maybe someone should come up with a touchless hand soap and rinse station (that also dries) before you pay and pick up your meal. Don't exactly need a full level 5 sanitation experience.
I think it has more to do with the where and when part. Don't have to get fancy plain soap and water will get rid of a lot of germs, and the immune system can kill the stragglers that make it through. Or the gut flora can keep that one bad one from growing, now tossing down a few more thousand with your meal might turn out not so well.
I think being too clean isn't good either, some with weak immune systems need to be but the majority would do best with an immune system that gets regular exercise. | |
