Subject: RE: Banding P on wheat rate

Northeast Indiana
125lbs of wheat for every 30 pounds of P. 125 divided by 30 is 4.17 so the ratio of wheat to P would be 4.17 to 1 If you are using MAP you would take 30 divided by .52 (MAP is 11-52-0) and get 57.6923lbs of MAP. 125 divided by 57.6923 is 2.17lbs of wheat for every pound of MAP fertilizer. I hope that you can follow my work.
